Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has taken a swipe at ex-Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, over his feedback condemning the emergency rule declared in Rivers State.
In a publish on his X (previously Twitter) deal with, Omokri accused El-Rufai of inciting Nigerians towards the federal authorities, whereas failing to steer his personal son, Bello El-Rufai, a member of the Home of Representatives, to problem the emergency declaration within the legislature.
Omokri mocked the previous governor, suggesting that whereas he sought to mobilize public sentiment on-line, he had shielded his family from direct involvement within the difficulty.
“He can not get his son to do his soiled work, so it’s you right here on social media that he has come to incite, as a result of your life and future don’t imply as a lot to him as his son’s life and future,” Omokri wrote.
The assertion comes amid heightened tensions over the Rivers disaster, with opposing political factions debating the legality and necessity of the emergency rule declared by President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
