The Home of Representatives has resolved to amend the regulation that established the Nigerian Meteorological Company, NiMet, to reinforce operations effectivity.
Abiodun Akinlade, the Chairman of the Home Committee on Aviation Expertise, disclosed this at a retreat in Abuja on Thursday.
The retreat was to tell the members of the committee on Aviation Expertise on the workings and terminologies of the company, and challenges going through it.
Mr Akinlade known as on the company to submit the mandatory amendments to the NiMet Act, emphasising that the retreat would strengthen the synergy between the committee and the company.
He expressed optimism that the collaboration would result in improved legislative assist to deal with key points affecting NiMet.

In line with him, it’s to deal with challenges that NiMet could grapple with by means of legislative enter.
