Kawu Sumaila, the Senator representing Kano South, has confirmed his defection from the New Nigerian Individuals Get together, NNPP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
There had been rumours of the lawmaker’s impeding defection, following his denouncement of Kwankwasiyya Motion and romance with chieftains of the ruling social gathering.
On April 16, Mr Sumaila visited the nationwide chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, alongside two federal lawmakers from Kano State, additional fuelling hypothesis of their return to the APC.
