The Police Command in Katsina, have confirmed {that a} medical physician, Dr Murtala Sale-Dandashire, who was shot at Kankara Common Hospital is alive.
The command spokesman, DSP Abubakar Aliyu, disclosed this to the Information Company of Nigeria on Wednesday in Katsina.
NAN studies that the information about Mr Sale-Dandashire, went viral through X deal with that the physician was shot by the terrorists.
He mentioned: “The information making the rounds {that a} medical physician shot useless at Kankara Common Hospital just isn’t true.
“He was shot however presently responding to therapy on the Federal Educating Hospital, Katsina.
“The terrorists equally kidnapped three individuals in the course of the assault.”
Mr Aliyu mentioned that the police have been making efforts to arrest the perpetrators, and rescue the kidnapped victims.
