South Korea’s impeached president Yoon Suk Yeol on Saturday stated he would “step apart” after parliament voted to take away him from workplace, urging an finish to “politics of extra and confrontation”.

This was after South Korean lawmakers on Saturday impeached Yoon over his failed martial regulation bid, with the opposition declaring a “victory of the folks”.
