Twnety-six graduating college students of Kwararafa College in Wukari native authorities council of Taraba State have been awarded first-class honour by the authorities of the establishment.
Aside from the scholars, honorary awards had been introduced to notable people, together with Attah Igala, Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa 11), former director of finance of the Nationwide Meeting, David Sabo Kente and former Group Managing Director of the Nigeria Nationwide Petroleum Firm (NNPC), Andrew Yakubu.
Acknowledging their contributions to society, the management of the establishment, led by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Shishi Zhema reminded them of the duties such honours.
Talking on the second mixed convocation of the college throughout the weekend, Zhema, acknowledged the delays within the issuance of certificates to earlier graduates and outlined a dedication to make sure that future convocations are held yearly.
The Vice Chancellor who apologised for any setbacks skilled by graduates in receiving their certificates, reaffirmed the college’s dedication to streamlining processes and enhancing the scholar expertise.
He mentioned campus infrastructure has been expanded, and new postgraduate programmes have been launched with NUC verification to broaden the college’s tutorial choices.
Stressing that workers welfare, tutorial innovation, and responsive insurance policies stay the college’s priorities, he applauded the Taraba State governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, the college’s Board of Trustees, the Governing Council, and plenty of different stakeholders, Kente and Laar, for his or her unwavering help.
