The Senate has obtained a request from President Bola Tinubu for the affirmation of the appointments of seven ministerial nominees introduced on Wednesday.
President Tinubu’s request in search of expeditious consideration of the requests was contained in a letter addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio who learn it on the graduation of the plenary on Thursday.
Tinubu urged the Senate to contemplate and make sure the seven nominees for appointment as ministers.
The ministerial nominees for affirmation embrace Nentawe Yilwatda (Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Discount), Muhammadu Dingyadi (Labour & Employment), Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu (State Overseas Affairs), and Jumoke Oduwole (Business, Commerce and Funding).
Others are Idi Mukhtar Maiha (Livestock Growth), Yusuf Ata (State, Housing and City Growth), and Suwaiba Ahmad (State Training).
Akpabio referred the nominees to the Committee of the Complete for additional legislative motion as quickly as doable.

Ten Ministers Get New Portfolios
The transfer got here hours after Tinubu reshuffled his cupboard. The president sacked 5 of his ministers, redeployed 10 of them, and appointed seven others.
These sacked included Uju-Ken Ohanenye as Minister of Girls Affairs; Lola Ade-John as Minister of Tourism; Tahir Mamman as Minister of Training; Abdullahi Gwarzo as Minister of State, Housing and City Growth; and Jamila Ibrahim as Minister of Youth Growth.
Tinubu thereafter appointed seven others. Amongst these reassigned had been Yusuf Sununu who was eliminated because the Minister of State for Training and named because the Minister of State, Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Discount.
Tinubu reassigned Olatunji Alausa because the Minister of Training, eradicating him because the Minister of State, Well being.
Bello Goronyo was eliminated as Minister of State, Water Assets and Sanitation and reassigned as Minister of State Works.
Abubakar Momoh was relieved as Minister of Niger Delta Growth and reassigned as Minister of Regional Growth.
Tinubu reassigned Uba Maigari Ahmadu as Minister of State, Regional Growth, from his earlier portfolio as Minister of State, Metal Growth.
The Minister of Business, Commerce, and Funding, Doris Uzoka-Anite, was reassigned as Minister of State Finance to deputised the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Financial system, Wale Edun.

Sports activities Minister John Enoh was reassigned as the brand new Minister of State, Commerce and Funding.
Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim was eliminated as Minister of State, Police Affairs and reassigned as Minister of Girls Affairs.
Ayodele Olawande was elevated as Minister of Youth Growth from his preliminary portfolio as Minister of State for Youth Growth.
Minister of State, Setting, Iziak Salako was reassigned as Minister of State, Well being.
