A 3-storey constructing has collapsed within the Lekki space of Lagos, with two individuals reported lifeless and 6 rescued to this point.
The Everlasting Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Administration Company (LASEMA), Olufemi Damilola Oke-Osanyintolu, disclosed this in an announcement on Wednesday.

Oke-Osanyintolu, who stated the instant explanation for the incident is but to be ascertained, added that additional investigations shall be performed.
“Thus far, two grownup males have been extricated from the rubbles of the collapsed constructing. Six significantly injured grownup males had been rescued and had been administered instant medical care by the LRU Pre-Hospital Care Unit, earlier than being transported to Marina Common Hospital for additional therapy,” the assertion stated.
LASEMA stated its Response Groups have commenced Search and Rescue Operation and LRT is coordinating different frequent stakeholders for efficient response on the incident scene.
It added that the Company’s heavy-duty tools (Excavator) was deployed to the incident scene and remains to be in operation and light-weight and heavy-duty tools has been deployed for the Search and Rescue Operation.
