CALABAR – The Administration of the College of Calabar Instructing Hospital (UCTH) has terminated the appointment of a locum radiographer following the dying of a affected person on the facility.
The Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) reviews that the radiographer was sacked for negligence of responsibility.
A reliable supply, who pleaded anonymity, informed NAN on Wednesday in Calabar that the employee was dismissed over failure to supply the important thing to the emergency X-ray room.
“The deceased was rushed to the hospital final night time and was instantly examined by the emergency staff.

NAN reviews that few hours after the affected person died, the hospital administration terminated the appointment of the Locum Radiographer by means of a letter dated Jan. 22.
Within the letter signed by the hospital director of administration, Dr Maria Bassey, no motive was given for the termination of appointment, although sources have been assured that it was linked to the affected person’s dying.
The letter reads: “That is to tell you that your companies within the UCTH as a radiographer are not required. Consequently, your appointment is hereby terminated with fast impact.”
