The Governing Council of the College of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has authorised 20 new professors and 31 readers in numerous schools of the establishment.
That is contained in an announcement made accessible to newsmen on Monday in Ilorin by the Registrar of UNILORIN, Mr. Mansur Alfanla.
Alfanla defined that 20 readers had been promoted to the professorial stage, whereas 31 senior lecturers had been upgraded to the place of readers.

“This adopted suggestions from the Appointments and Promotions Committee (A&PC) of UNILORIN, as offered to the assembly of the council held on Jan.27, by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Egbewole.
“The A&PC, at its 186th assembly, thought of the suggestions from the 2024 promotion train of some eligible members of educational employees to the positions of professor and reader,” he mentioned.
